On saturday 23rd 16 brave Celts met to head to a day in the snow.

Sharp at 7:30 a.m the party started their way, making their way to Stuhleck.

The weatherforecast was great, so everybody was looking forward to a great day in the sun and snow.

Additionally there was a ski- and snowboard race scheduled, so everyone could show his talents in the snow.

Remembering last year results, there were some improvements to be shown as the race 2009 was won by a South African followed by a Kiwi.

Therefore the Austrian Clets planned to introduce their best Skier, Harry, to the race, but unfortunately he decided to travel together with 4 other guys at the same time through half of Austria (?). But as good old Norbs already said: "What a man has to do, a man has to do" 

And so the ski day and the race to place without Harry.

The party arrived at 9:00 at Stuhleck and immediately got up the mountain to enjoy the day an to get warmed up for the race. What a surprise it was to the party to see 2 of their snowboarders heavily struggling to even get on their feet!!!

So on went the preparations to the race: and there the Empire Stroke back and put the pecking order in ski and Snowboard ranking back to normal!!!!

2 Party members failed to participate in the race, as they had problems in getting down the mountain on their boards and to navigate to the race track (no names on that, but they might be the same who struggled to stay on their feet as well...)

After a great afternoon of snow boarding and skiing the party ended the day at Toms Hütte relaxing after a gret day in the snow.
