VIENNA CELTIC RFC IS CELEBRATING 30 YEARS ANNIVERSARY !!!

Founded in 1978 by John Skinner, Johnny Schweiger and Bernhard Eigenberger, Vienna Celtic has been the first rugby club in Austria. The Austrian rugby scene made a lot of progress, and so did we - but still, to be a Celt, means more than just going to practice and playing matches - its the heart and the spirit of 30 years that forms the backbone of this great team! Bear in mind, if you are currently playing for First XV or even for U18s team, that there have been guys in the late 1970s who wore the Celtic colours with pride!!!

So we all want to celebrate together:
