Liebe Vereinsmitglieder, liebe Eltern,
Die Coronavirus Situation ist allgegenwärtig und Vienna Celtic ist um die Gesundheit all unserer Mitglieder besorgt!
In Abstimmung mit dem Vereinsvorstand und den anderen Wiener Rugby Vereinen haben wir daher folgende Entscheidung getroffen:
Bei den Minis und Juniors werden vorerst bis Ende März alle Vereinsaktivitäten (Training, Matches, Teilnahme an Turnieren, Public Viewing im Clubhaus) abgesagt.
Bis dahin werden wir die Situation genau verfolgen und Euch zeitnah über die weitere Vorgehensweise ab 1.4.2020 informieren.
Bei den Herren werden wir vorerst den Trainingsbetrieb aufrechterhalten.
Bezüglich Matches stehen wir in enger Verbindung mit dem österreichischen Rugbyverband, vorerst läuft der Ligabetrieb weiter.
Bei einer Veränderung der Situation werden wir Euch umgehend informieren!
Wir möchten unsere Spieler bitten hier in Eigenverantwortung bitten bei jeglichem Anzeichen einer Erkrankung von der Trainingsteilnahme abzusehen.
Clubhausaktivitäten (Public viewing): auch diese werden bis auf weiteres ausgesetzt
Wir bedauern, diese Entscheidung treffen zu müssen. Allerdings sind wir uns unserer Verantwortung gegenüber unserer Mitglieder bewusst und wollen alle Risiken einer Ansteckung am Rugbyplatz ausschließen.

Dear Celtic members, dear parents,
The situation around the coronavirus is omnipresent; for Vienna Celtic, the health of all our members has highest priority.
After discussions with our Club’s Steering committee and the other Rugby clubs of Vienna, we have taken the following decisions:
Minis and Juniors Rugby
Effective immediately and until the end of March all club activities (trainings, matches, participation at tournaments, clubhouse public viewings, etc.) are cancelled. We will constantly evaluate the situation and we will inform you about the further proceedings from April 1st.
Adults Rugby
Training will continue to be held until further notice. We are in permanent contact with the Austrian Rugby Federation – the league season goes on. Of course we will inform you about any changes that may occur.
We would like to ask our players for their individual responsibility and to not attend training in case of any illness signs and to inform us accordingly.
Clubhouse activities (i.e. public viewing) are cancelled until further notice.
We deeply regret to have to take these measures. However, we are aware of our responsibility towards our members and we want to eliminate all potential infection risks.
